A note from the organizing Committee:
Dear Delegate,
We are pleased to invite you to the IACAMCON2011 to be held at the St.John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bengaluru from the 17th to 19th November 2011. We look forward to your active participation in the scientific programme.
Bengaluru (as Bangalore is now affectionately called) enjoys very pleasant weather during November. This bustling new metropolis with all the charms and attractions of a green, science and technology city is a must see for all. Some of you may recall your stay here during the 4th IACAMCON, held at the NIMHANS in 1999 and may see a very new city if you have not been here since! The St.John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (www.stjohns.in) has a large green campus right in the heart of the city. You will appreciate a stroll through the flora / fauna of the campus as also its various research and clinical centers. The St.John’s Research Institute (www.sjri.res.in) and the upcoming St.John’s Institute for Children with Special Needs are some of the several aspects that we are very proud of. A variety of modernization activities of the campus are also underway.
We will be holding about 50 rooms in the St.John’s Annexe III building which is 100 meters from the conference venue for those who seek accommodation. These rooms are charged in the range of Rs.600-700/-per day and are popular for their elegance, comfort and cheery ambience. Please indicate if you need them for your use during the conference days. Other near-by accommodation will be displayed on the website.
We believe that academic programmes are the essence of this conference. We look forward to making your stay here meaningful and comfortable. Please register at the earliest.
Warm regards to all,
Dr.Ashok Mysore V Dr.Swarna Rekha-Bhatt Professor of Psychiatry Professor of Pediatrics
